A c1900 small
covered trinket box. Crested Ware with the arms of King's Lynn to
the cover and stamped to the underside of the cover only Grafton
China, the Staffordshire Knot for Alfred B Jones and 298. The box itself
has two chips to it, but they appear to be from manufacture as they
are glazed over. The gilding to the rim of the cover is heavily worn
and there are a series of blemishes around the cover as can be seen
in the photographs. The lid also does not sit quite perfectly on the
box. Measures
about 1 7/8 x 1 1/2 x 1 inches and weighs 40g. |
