David Winter hand made and hand painted cottage, specially made for Christmas 1988, Christmas in Scotland and Hogmanay from the Dickens series. J-Hine-5535. Mouse type, front side left lower window on ledge. In generally good, but previously displayed, condition. Free from any obvious chips or cracks, although minor wear to the paint in places. Comes without the original box, but does have the original label to the base. Measures 6 inches (15 cm) in height, and measures 6 1/2 inches (16 1/2 cm) in width. Weighs unpackaged 1350 grammes. | Special for Christmas 1990, this David Winter piece is called Mister Fezziwig's Emporium, from the Dickens collection. Introduced in 1990 and retired 31st December of that year. Manufacturing code j-hine-1990. This is the mouse type; mouse can be found on the ledge beneath the right side of the attic window. Complete with label to the underside, but comes without the original box. In good condition, with no chips or cracks, just the very odd flake of paint missing. Measures 6 inches (15 cm) in height, and weighs unpackaged 1100 grammes. Postage is quite heavy for this item due to the fragility of the material and the requirement for plenty of packaging. Superb piece of David Winter from the Collector's Guild, No 2. Named Queen Elizabeth Slept Here, this piece is now quite a difficult piece to get hold of. Manufacturers code j-hine-1210, mouse type - with mouse at the right hand side of the steps, 6th step from base. Introduced in 1987 and retired in 1989. In excellent condition with just the odd flake of paint missing, and minor chip in a couple of places. With original label, no box or certificate. Stands 6 1/2 inches (16 1/2 cm) in height, and 8 inches (20 cm) in length. Additional photographs are available on request. |
